100-Night Mattress Trial

Where We Deliver

At Aotearoa Sleep Co., we want our customers to feel confident about their mattress purchase. That is why we offer a 100-night trial period on eligible mattresses. This allows you to experience the mattress in your own home before committing fully. The trial period begins from the date of delivery.

As the future of shopping moves increasingly online, we are dedicated to enhancing your experience through a convenient, hassle-free process. Without the limitations of a physical store, we aim to make your mattress purchase as seamless and enjoyable as possible, right from the comfort of your home.

Shipping Costs

To qualify for a return under the trial policy, the following conditions must be met:

  • The mattress must be used for a minimum of 30 nights to allow your body to adjust.
  • The mattress must be kept in clean, hygienic condition, with a mattress protector used at all times.
  • The mattress must be used on a suitable, supportive base.
  • The trial is valid only for the original purchaser and for use in a residential setting.

Delivery Timeframes

All New Zealand made mattresses purchased through Aotearoa Sleep Co.

Limit of one trial-based return per household.

Trial applies to mattresses only, not to accessories, bases, or bespoke/custom designs.

Delivery Process

Mattresses that are damaged, stained, or soiled in any way.

Mattresses returned from unsanitary or neglected conditions.

Products that show signs of misuse, including incorrect support, folding, or improper storage.

Returns based on subjective comfort preferences before the 30-night minimum.

Commercial use (e.g. hotels, rentals, AirBnB) unless pre-approved in writing.

Inspection Upon Delivery

To request a return, email info@aotearoasleepco.co.nz with your order number and photos of the mattress in its current condition. If your return is approved:

  • You will be responsible for the cost of return, including any transport, handling, or donation logistics.
  • We will provide guidance on suitable options based on your location.
  • All returns must be arranged and completed within the 100-night window.

Failed or Missed Deliveries

Upon receipt or confirmation of a qualifying return, a refund will be processed to your original payment method. Aotearoa Sleep Co. reserves the right to inspect or assess the condition of the product before processing any refund.

We may deduct fees associated with transport, inspection, or hygiene restoration if applicable.

Rural & Special Deliveries

The 100-night trial is designed to give you peace of mind, not to offer a free rental. Aotearoa Sleep Co. reserves the right to decline a return if we believe the policy is being misused or if eligibility requirements are not met.
